Security measures

Secured with TLS encryption in transit, AES-256 encryption of stored documents, two-factor sign-in, role-based access controls with per-organisation data isolation, and audit logging of document access.

Encryption in transit

Connections to BoardMeet use HTTPS with TLS encryption. The application redirects HTTP requests to HTTPS.

Encryption of stored documents

Uploaded documents are stored privately with AES-256 encryption. Document downloads pass through the application's access checks.

Two-factor sign-in

Sign-in uses a password and a one-time code sent by email. A recognised trusted device can skip a new code until its trust expires. You can revoke trusted devices from your account settings.

Roles and organisation access

Membership, company access, and document roles determine which records a person can access. The application checks organisation boundaries when records are requested and when related records are saved.

Document-access logging

Board-pack reads, notice opens, and document-download events are recorded by the application. These records identify access through BoardMeet.
